Venus Reworked is a mixed media figurative sculpture and video.
I have reworked Alexandre Cabanel’s painting “The Birth of Venus” reformatting the composition in sculptural form.
The mediums and production methods employed, in combination with the 3D figurative portrayal, in contrast to Cabanel’s painting, is intended to reflect more contemporary modes of artificial beautification
